I don't want you to scared by this grammar work - you can all do it!! It's just different ways to start a sentence!!!   Have a look at the sheet then using the ISPACE, white a difference sentence opener for the following sentence.
Red and Orange choose 1 sentence then do the ISPACE for it.
Blue and Green choose 2 or 3 sentences and do the ISPACE for each sentence.

As you learnt yesterday during guided reading, habitats need food, water and shelter. Think about the different animals that live in the different habitats.

Be creative and design your own creature. Remember to add lots of descriptions to make it more interesting.

We have already done our Guided Reading so now have a go at this grammar sheet. We have visited pronouns before! Instead of using nouns all of the time in our writing, we may choose to use a pronoun.  e.g.   his / it's  /  you.

W.A.L.T - observational sketch from a natural environment.
I would like you to go outdoors. Choose something natural that interests you. It could be a collection of leaves, the pattern on tree bark, moss growing on a wall. Then carefully sketch what you can see. Make sure that you use a pencil. Light soft lines in case you make a mistake. There are lots of examples on Youtube or images.

Good Morning!  Let's hope that this is the very last day of virtual schooling, although things could change last minute as it is not up to ISB it's up to the MOH and MOE.

Please make sure that you have a close look at the newsletter this week as all the times for drop off and pick up are on there.

W.A.L.T. - Create our own habitat.

Today's challenge is a creative one! As we have just started our topic on 'Habitats' I would like you to create your own. Choose a small toy or a fluffy and create a habitat for it. If you can work outside and use natural resources you can find around you. What does your habitat need?  - shelter / food / water. What could make it more comfortable? Is your toy camouflaged? shaded?
Then take a photo and upload to seesaw. If you would like to, you could write a paragraph describing the different features of your habitat.

Last Challenge

Get everything ready that you need for school on Monday.
Here are just a few things I can think of!
Packed lunch, snacks, water bottle, hat, small toy for playtimes, reading book. It has been a very long time since we were last at school and it will be a shock for a few of you getting up so early again!! Please make sure that you go to bed at a reasonable time so you are ready to go on Monday. - That means at least 10 - 11 hours a night!!

That means bed at 7pm up at 6am to get ready for school!!!!

Because we are stuck in Brunei (or UK - Noah / KL - Lawrence)  Reading helps us to escape to another world. I would like you to tell me about this place! It could be a place that you have visited before, maybe is a complete fantasy place. Use adjectives, varied sentence openers and don't forget to write in paragraphs. I expect this to take at least half an hour!

Have a look at the power point below. This has all the information that you need. Once you have had a good look and read it, I would like you to make a list of the characteristics for each of the animal groups that are vertebrates.

As it is Monday, it is a PE day. I am going to be checking that everyone enters a PE video or picture for Mr Russell!!

I'm not going to set a topic today as we have really dropped off in out x tables and reading - so use this time to do that instead!!

I am having some difficulties with seesaw at the moment it will not allow me to post any new activities for you, so please have a look for your tasks below. Once you have completed the work please load it up to seesaw so that myself and TJ can mark it.

English-  As yesterday, copy up in your neatest handwriting then as a challenge write a paragraph in the future tense.  e.g.  When I am older......




Well being -

As part of your emotional well being and being considerate of those around you, TJ and I would like you to show another act of kindness towards someone else.  (Not the same as before) then record a brief explanation why you chose the action you did. - If you like you can video record your reason.

PE - As today is a swimming day! Please make sure that you check out Mr Russell's PE Vlog, lets try and get lots of challenges completed in Kingfisher Class.
